The selection of Polaris award began in 2014. It is committed to the promotion of innovative products in the whole construction field. Taking "new buildings, new products and new technologies" as the evaluation standard, it selects the most innovative and practical new construction products of the year. It is one of the most influential Technological Innovation Awards in China's construction industry and is also known as the "Nobel Prize" in China's construction industry. This selection activity lasted 8 months by the expert evaluation team, and was strictly selected from more than 300 new products of registered enterprises. The curtain wall project of "Hang Seng financial cloud product production base" stands out with its "multidimensional, three-dimensional, bright and unique" intelligent building image, and won the "eighth Polaris Architecture Award".
The "Hang Seng financial cloud product production base" project, also known as "Hang Seng digital intelligence center", is located in the southwest of the intersection of Shidai Avenue and Jiangnan Avenue, the main trunk road in Binjiang District, Hangzhou. It has 45 floors above the ground and 3 floors underground. The aboveground building area is 98270.59 square meters, the underground building area is 53444.7 square meters, the building height is 200 meters, and the total curtain wall area is about 80000 square meters. The curtain wall design, construction and installation of the project are undertaken by Zhongnan curtain wall.
The overall outline of the building looks like a "wine bottle". Inspired by the Qiantang River, the designer absorbs the cultural connotation of the two landmark sculptures of "King Qian shooting the tide" and "Qianjiang dragon", and combines the dual forms of "dragon scale" totem and "wave light" of the river to describe it on the building facade. The facade shows the characteristics of architectural design by using the perfect combination of component glass curtain wall, unit glass curtain wall and external composite aluminum plate decoration.
After multiple optimization of design and construction, the Central South curtain wall uses parametric design method to divide the building into four-stage five dragon scale system of rectangular aluminum plate, parallelogram aluminum plate, thin and narrow strip aluminum plate and diamond glass. The composite modeling aluminum plate and glass curtain wall form the vertical texture of advance and retreat effect, and gradually change from convex to concave from bottom to top. In addition, after several rounds of comparison and carbon emission simulation calculation, the designer once again refined the selection of curtain wall materials, selected ultra white tempered and laminated glass, and made matte treatment on aluminum plate surface to reduce reflectivity and amplify the effect of energy conservation and environmental protection. Among them, our "Central South curtain wall auxiliary drawing system" has also participated in the design process of the project, and the standardization degree of drawings and the management efficiency of all links have been significantly improved; The design change rate and project cost are effectively reduced, and the satisfaction and landing results of all parties involved in the construction of the project are obvious. Therefore, the Hang Seng Digital Intelligence Center project won the "2021 curtain wall consultant industry design award - Comprehensive Performance Award - Service Award".
